What are you going to do

For our client, a fast-growing organization in software solutions, we are looking for a Group Controller. As a Group Controller/Reporting Specialist in this organization, you will have the possibility to understand complex reporting requirements of a midsized multinational and contribute to solving those and bring them to the next level of reporting. Overall, an exciting journey where you will be able to grow as a finance professional.

The organization is growing rapidly. They more than doubled the numbers in the last 3 years as a result of both organic growth as well as their buy and build strategy. As finance, they need to prepare for the upcoming changes in reporting requirements to all stakeholders, internally and externally. In this role of Group Controller you have a unique opportunity to build a new foundation.

Your tasks and responsibilities
  • Translating changing requirements into new reporting model including impact analysis on accounting setup
  • Performing financial reporting and consolidation
  • Leading role in the execution of the monthly group reporting process
  • Leading role in the execution of the budgeting and forecasting process
  • Performing recurring and ad hoc financial analysis
  • Interpreting data, draw conclusions and provide focused guidance
  • Preparing updates for the reporting manual and contribute to the accounting manual
  • Participate in improvement projects related to accounting and reporting
Your profile
  • You have a bachelor or master’s degree in Accounting/ Finance (AA/RA is preferred)
  • Relevant experience with consolidation and reporting is a must
  • You have knowledge of both Dutch GAAP and preferably IFRS
  • Excellent skills in MS office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • You are enthusiastic, proactive and self-starting
  • You have good communication skills and excellent speaking and writing skills in English
  • Experience with consolidation systems (Lucanet, HFM) is preferred

  • A salary of €75.000 – €90.000 per year including bonus, depending on education and previous work experience
